This graduation cap printable is perfect for celebrating all of the commencements this season. There are 11 color options...perfect to coordinate with your graduate's school colors. There is a blank version, too. Download your favorite below.

The design on this graduation cap printable isn't completely new. It was actually used on a card design, back in 2020. But, I had several requests to make a similar print, using that classic mortar board as the focus. I actually worked to create something new, but nothing felt right. So, why reinvent the wheel? I cam back to the original design and enlarged it to work on an 8x10" printable. See all 11 color options below.

Free Graduation Cap Printable

If you look closely at some of these photos, you can see the '96 tassel on the mortar board. I actually pulled out my old high school graduation cap for these photos...kind of fun to see it after all these years.

All of the printable colors are available in the following format options:

8x10" PDF
8x10" JPEG

While a traditional 8x10" photo frame works well for these, above, you can see that I just rounded the corners for a fun look.

Printing and Using Your Graduation Cap Printable

This graduation-themed printable is for personal use. However, if you own a small shop or business and would like to carry the physical version (no digital redistribution is allowed), you may purchase a commercial license here.
The PDF option is great for at-home printing.
The PDF can be printed onto letter-sized white cardstock for the best results. Regular paper can is a bit too thin for designs like this.

When printing your design at home, you can use the NORMAL or DRAFT settings on your printer. The DRAFT mode can create slight striations, which often mimics the authentic watercolor look. This doesn't happen with all printers, but it's definitely worth a shot.
The JPEG can be printed like any photo or image file. You can upload it to your favorite printing company (even a photo printing place) for fantastic results.
