Today's Neutral-Toned Wildflower Watercolor Printables are a cousin to yesterday's designs...but in more muted colors. This has been a popular reader request for some time and I'm sorry it took me a bit to oblige. But, for all of you muted-color palette friends, these free wildflower watercolor printables are just for you!
If you come around here often, you probably know I'm a fan of brighter and louder colors (you can see my home in a lot of my Instagram pictures to get an idea of the bold hues I use). And while I often do a lot of these designs in the realm of my own colors, I know that we all have different tastes. And for a couple of weeks now, I've had a number of you reach out and request more muted colors on printables...especially after yesterday's Watercolor Prints and last week's new style of Watercolor Photography. So, I tried to get out of my own way and create something that would appeal to those of you who prefer a more calmer color palette with today's designs. You can download one or both of these below.
Wildflower Watercolor Printables
In all honesty, with how popular yesterday's prints were, I didn't deviate too far from their basic designs, except in colors and actual flower types. One of my favorite parts of today's more neutral-friendly designs are the addition of the eucalyptus sprigs. I've been using them in a lot of my actual floral arrangements lately, so it was fun to add them into these printables.
While I don't do a ton of neutrals in my own home, this one is certainly growing on me.
I always get asked about this magnetic poster frame, pictured above. It's so fun and easy to use and less than $10 here on Amazon.
Since these prints are *almost* mirror images of one another, they're perfect to display together.
Printing and Usage for these Wildflower Printables:
- All of the today's printable designs featured here are for personal use. However, if you own one or more small businesses and would like to utilize the physical, printed products (no digital redistribution is allowed, please purchase a commercial license here.
- Today's designs are available in 8x10" sizes only. There are lots of floral details and little brush stroke details in this one. Just like yesterday's prints, I worried smaller sizes would lose those aspects.
- The following formats are available:
- JPEG
- The PDF designs can easily be printed on your home printer. Use white, letter-sized cardstock for the best results (regular paper is too thin). Grab white cardstock here on Amazon.
- If you are printing the JPEG options, you can upload to your local print shop, or just print like a regular image or photo.
- These floral designs look particularly nice when set off inside a matted frame (as pictured above). Since the floral designs extend into the corners of each print, they really pop in this manner. To achieve this look, purchase an 11x14" frame and add an 8x10" matte to it.
Colorful Versions
As I mentioned earlier, today's neutral designs were actually inspired by the above bright and colorful Free Printable Watercolor Wildflowers that I shared yesterday. They're great if, like me, you're more into the "louder" colors.
