Today's free printable North Pole Gift Tags will add that special festive touch to all of your Christmas morning packages from the big guy in red. These tags have that fun, "official" look to them, with a tiny bit of vintage flair. There are two different color options available below.
I love adding a bit of extra fun to presents...especially ones from Santa. Even though my boys are well into their teen years, they still seem to get a kick out of it, too. This year, we're going with these North Pole Gift Tags. They'll know right away these were sent directly from Santa's workshop. Download your own free printable North Pole Gift Tags below.

Do you have a few special deliveries arriving by sleigh on Christmas morning? If so, these tags will make sure they stand out among from rest! They each say "Special delivery from the North Pole", and are sure to make kids of all ages smile.
There are two ink options available for these tags: black and red. And I used special paper for the tag pictured above on the left (more on that below). But both ink options print perfectly onto white cardstock.
Printing and Usage Tips
- These tags are for personal use. However, if you do have your own small business and would like to carry the printed versions (no digital reselling is allowed), grab a commercial license here.
- Today's gift tags print with six designs per page.
- Be sure to always print gift tags onto letter-sized cardstock. Regular paper is too thin for gift tags and will cause the corners to curl. As you can see in many of today's photos, I tried out a fun kraft cardstock to give these tags that authentic "special delivery" look. Admittedly, the kraft paper was a bit more tedious with my printer (I had to set it to glossy paper to get it to feed through and that took a couple of tries), but in the end, I like the results. White, letter-sized cardstock worked great, too (especially with the red ink).
- Grab a pack of white letter-sized cardstock here on Amazon.

- After printing, you can either leave the outlines around the tags, or cut them off.
- I love a good paper cutter when cutting lots of tags. This Fiskars Paper Trimmer (pictured above) has served me well for several years now. It cuts super straight lines with a wire guide to make it simple.
- I prefer the smaller, 1/8" hole punch for gift tags. They don't take away from the design as much as a larger hole punch does.
- Tie your tags onto your packages using pretty Christmas ribbon or even festive colored baker's twine.
I honestly can't decide if I like the black ink on kraft paper or the red on white cardstock better. The black ink prints perfectly onto white cardstock, too, if you prefer. I just had some fun playing with the kraft paper cardstock this time around.
I have another free printable gift tag that would also work well for those North Pole gifts. Pictured above, my free printable Santa Gift Tags come in three different size options (even for those oversized presents!).
