When I grabbed up a bunch of hand soaps on clearance at the end of the season last year, I knew I'd be using them as holiday gifts this year. So, I originally created today's free printable hand soap gift tags for my own personal use, but I figured others may enjoy them, too. You can download these printable tags below for some good, clean, fun this holiday season.
Spread cheer. Not germs.
This sounds like an excellent plan to me.
Plus, in the height of the season of sniffles, I feel like hand soap is a fairly timely and useful gift for the holidays (it's nice and budget-friendly, too). We are gifting our hand soaps to the counselors at my husband's school this year. But, they're perfect for teacher gifts, neighbor gifts, secret Santa surprises, and more.

Last year, one of my husband's coaches gifted everyone hand soaps for the holiday season, I loved that gift immediately. It was so practical and I thought of Coach almost every time I used a pump of the suds. So, I'm copying a fellow educator with this simple gift idea. Why reinvent the wheel, right? But holiday-scented hand soaps go the extra mile for a bit of germ-free gifting this Christmas season. And these free printable Hand Soap Gift Tags take simple soaps to the cute level, as well.
I kept these tag designs very simple...just fun lettering and traditional Christmas colors. They're low on ink-usage and have six tags to a page (which is great for the cardstock-budget). Their size is perfect for the Bath & Body Works Hand Soaps or those in a similar size.
Printing and Usage

- These tags are for personal use. However, if you do own a small shop or business and would like to carry the printed version (no digital redistribution is allowed), you can purchase a commercial license here.
- These tags print six to a page.
- These tags (roughly) measure 3.5"x2.25".
- Gift tags are best printed on sturdier paper. I highly suggest letter-sized white cardstock for the best results (you can find it here on Amazon).
- Cut out each tag around the red border. Scissors work great. But, if you have quite a few to cut out, I love using a paper trimmer (pictured above). I've had this Fiskars Paper Trimmer from Amazon for several years and it makes the straightest cut and has a wire guide making it easy.
- Be sure to use a 1/8" size hole punch for a cute, petite hole that doesn't take up much space (find that size here on Amazon).
- And I love using festive, holiday baker's twine to tie my gift tags to packages. Find it here on Amazon.
A cow hitch knot always looks really nice on a gift tag (as pictured above).
