This simple free spring printable is a lovely little (word-free) addition to your decor this season. It is reminiscent of my parents' garden gate at the last home they had...it was covered in wisteria and looked so lovely from the street. Grab this free spring printable below.
I do have to laugh when I picture my parents' wisteria-covered gate at their home in Marble Falls, Texas. It was truly breath-taking, but (apparently) at a cost. When I would prattle on about its prettiness, I would get a stern warning from my mother: "Don't ever plant Wisteria. Not only will it take over your garden, it will take over your life." My mom always donned her sharpest shears to deal with the wisteria every spring...kicking herself for having planted it all those years before. While that is now a funny and quite sweet memory for me, this little free spring printable is a nod to the wisteria fiasco (because, what else could you call it?). Download yours below.

As many of you know via my newsletter, today's printable was also born out of frustration for trying to figure out how to get an exclusive print out to my subscribers. This one is not exclusive at this point, but its original intention was just that. Because of that, it's fairly plain Jane in terms of options: just one size and one design. But, there are two format options.
Oh, Wisteria, you naughty plant. Your beauty is captivating, but you sure are a beast to manage. But, thankfully, we can just enjoy the Wisteria in printable form today...no sharp shears needed.
Printing Your Spring Printable
- This printable is for personal use. However, if you own a small shop or business and would like to carry the physical version (no digital redistribution is allowed), you may purchase a commercial license here.
- Again, there is just one (classic!) 8x10" size featured today.
- The PDF formats are perfect for your at-home printing.
- Both of the PDF sizes can be printed onto letter-sized white cardstock for the best results. Regular paper can be a bit too thin for designs like this.
- When printing at home, you can use the NORMAL or DRAFT settings on your printer. The DRAFT mode can create slight striations, which often mimics the authentic watercolor look. This doesn't work out with all printers, but it's definitely worth a try to see how you like the results.
If you enjoy the look of today's spring printable design, you'll probably also enjoy my Free Farm Fresh Flowers printables (pictured above). They're truckloads of floral fun.
More Free Spring Printables
- These Free Bicycle Flower Printables are available in two different color options. They totally scream SPRING and are some of my personal favorites.
- And my French Country Garden Printables have six different floral designs and two background options. They're really perfect for this time of the year.
- Over on my other blog, Print Pretty Cards, you'll find my free Lavender and Lace printable greeting cards are the perfect way to send greetings across the miles.
- And these Vintage Rose Printables over on The Navage Patch are absolutely beautiful.
I just love how beautiful wisteria is, but I whole heartedly agree with your mom. I spent several hours cutting the vines to the wisteria that has grown up a tree in our back yard so it wasn't in the way of the garden I wanted to plant. It will take over! I love your printable, and the fact that it is your memory makes it even better! Thank you very much for sharing your printables and cards! You're the best!

DeleteSorry about the crash!! But wow, thank you so much for the beautiful print. I guess wisteria is definitely something I love *looking* at :) Years and years (and years) ago, I used to visit websites that had hidden secret fairy gardens. I created one on my website too. It had lots of sparkling wisteria. rotfl.
