We're right in the middle of the dog days...it's super hot, muggy, and not always everyone's favorite part of the summer season. But we know that soon (well, in a few weeks/months) a glorious new (cooler!) season will be upon us. I put together three late summer Facebook Timeline Covers to fill that gap between all the red, white, and blue of summer and well, the pumpkins that should head our way soon.

Earlier this week, I sent out an email with links to lots of "transitional" printables that work for later summer and early fall, as well. Those prints inspired today's Facebook Timeline Covers. Because our profiles can be pretty, too, right? I did list out all of those printables at the end of this post, if you're interested.

Today's three covers include the sunflower theme you guys all love (inspired by this Ecclesiastes 3:11 printable). I also created a butterfly-filled one (inspired by my recent butterfly printables). And then I threw in a raspberry one...because who doesn't love raspberries right about now, amiright?

Installing your Facebook Timeline Covers

Facebook often changes their features and functions (much to my chagrin). But, below, I have put together the current method (as of July of 2020) of changing out the cover on a Facebook timeline. Again, you can check out my entire collection of free Facebook covers to change these out as often as you like. All of my cover image designs are sized at 1640 x 720 pixels, which is the standard Facebook cover size dimension (again, this is as of right now...these do change from time to time).

Start the process of changing out your Facebook cover by hovering your mouse over the top lefthand corner of your current Facebook cover over that small camera icon (as pictured above).
The above "Update Cover Photo" (in the horizontal rectangular black box in that top lefthand corner) should appear on its own when you hover your mouse on top of it.
Click "Update Cover Photo" box. The dropdown menu should reveal itself (as you can see in the image above).
Then, select the "Upload Photo" option.
Locate on your device where you downloaded your new Summer Facebook Cover from this post.

Once you've located and selected your new design that you will be using, your new cover should appear in your timeline's large photo area (as pictured above).
A greyed-out, opaque box will populate in the middle of your new design that says "Drag to Move Cover Photo". You may now adjust your timeline image to suit your preferences.
When you're satisfied with the positioning and size of your new image, be sure to click "Save Changes" (you'll see a blue box in the bottom right corner of your Facebook page stating this).
Your new inspirational design should be in place and ready for the summer season!
