Free Stationery Printables for Summer

This post for free stationery contains affiliate links. As an Amazon Affiliate, I make a small portion when these links are used, at no additional cost to you.

Today's free stationery printables for summertime are filled with all kinds of warm-weather watercolor florals coming in from opposite corners. I have versions of these designs both with or without lines. These free stationery printables are perfect for a little old-fashioned snail mail this summer season.

If you're anything like me, you appreciate a nice, old-school note sent through the mail. It's just the best, right? I love sending notes to friends and family. And I definitely love receiving them. When someone takes the time to sit down and put pen to paper to send sweet thoughts and greetings, well, it just means the world, doesn't it? Download these free stationery printables with a summery look below.

I think I've mentioned this here before, but since all of the inside-time we've had the past couple of months (and into the near future, too, I suppose), I've been trying to prioritize sending actual mail to friends and family. But, since I don't do a ton of actual in-store shopping these days, I've been running low on cards and such (you know the old saying: the cobbler's kids have no shoes; it rings true for graphic designers who make cards and such, too...apparently).

No joke, yesterday I sent my brother a Christmas card (in June!) since it was about all I had left in my stash of cards. I'm sure he'll get a kick out of it, but I did sort of explain it in the inside of the card. But, this morning, I've printed off some of this new summery stationery and I'm ready to send some legit cards (not in a red and green motif!).

Stationery Designs

These summer designs come in two options for you: lined and unlined. I'm a lined-stationery person, but my mother would insist on unlined stationery. She liked to live on the wild side, y'all. Me? My note would be a mess if I tried free-styling like that. More power to you if you're the unlined type of person, too.

Above, you can see both design options. I made these stationery designs just slightly smaller than standard stationery. I had many requests for prints that fit multiple copies on each page (to reduce paper waste). So, today, these print out two to a page. And each design fits into an A6 envelope without having to fold it (more on that below). I like the look of a nice, crisp (uncreased) note. These are the epitome of that. These also have a faint pink/mauve watercolor border running around the outside of the stationery (it runs under the florals). It just gives the design a bit more structure.

Printing Your Free Stationery

  • This stationery is for personal use. However, if you'd like to use the physical products in your small business, you may purchase a commercial license here
  • Each design prints with two copies per page. They are designed to be printed onto standard, letter-sized pages.
  • I highly recommend using white, letter-sized cardstock for the best results.
  • On each of the designs, I include a small hairline border (in addition to the watercolor border) around the perimeter of each design. The hairline is there as a cutting guide. Simply trim just inside of it for your stationery.

Envelopes for Your Free Stationery

As I mentioned, these stationery prints are small enough to get two prints per page, easily. They are sized at 6.25"x4.5" and fit perfectly into an A6 size envelopes. I order my A6 envelopes through Amazon. Here are several that I found that coordinate perfectly with these printables.

  3. These are lovely, thank you. If you print on regular paper and use a light box, you can put a lined sheet under a plain one. You will then have lines for guidance, but your recipient will only see the unlined version with your message. Very cool!
