These Staffordshire Dog prints are a bit out of the ordinary from my normal designs, but I just couldn't resist putting them together for my own mantel. I thought a few of you might also be staffy-dog fans, so I'm sharing them here, as well. There are two mirror-image versions, too (just like a traditional Staffordshire Dog set).
I've actually been a Staffordshire Dog fan for quite some time. I have several single dogs, but just recently added both of my pairs to my mantel. I felt like I needed a third set for balance, but realized having them in printable form might be kind of fun and different. And since I recently added a bunch of hot pink to this space, I thought making them in that color would be super fun and perfect for spring. You can download both of these Staffordshire Dog printables below.
Staffordshire Dog Decor
I love when I find an actual pair of these ceramic pretties. Singular ones are fairly easy to stumble upon in a thrift store, but the pairs are always a big score. And if you are new to the Staffordshire Dog thing, these printables would be a fun way to start out your collection (or just display them on their own).
I got a little carried away with photos for today's post, but with the time I've had on my hands, my living room is spotless. It seemed like a good time for photos. This living room changed when my dad moved in with us and we moved the big blue sectional in here. But you can check out our previous living room decor, if you like.
And the pink polka dot banner was a part of my Christmas mantel. It was a freebie that you can grab here. It has two color options. I loved it so much that I just can't take it down quite yet.
Framing Your Staffordshire Dog Printables
- I prefer to use a matted frame for this design. Since the blue and white floral background bleeds to the edge of the page, using a white matte really makes the printable pop.
- The frames pictured here are actually 11x14" used with an 8x10" matte, which makes these look really substantial, overall.
- You can purchase this same frame here on Amazon Prime (it comes with the matte for the complete look).
I had to share a detailed photo of my latest pair of staffy-dogs. I found these poodle-like pretties in my favorite consignment shop over in Georgetown. They were less than $25 for the pair, so I scooped them up immediately! I love the texture on this particular set. So fun, right?
The small Waterford Mantel clock in the middle belonged to my parents. I just think it's the sweetest little touch for this space. And the larger abstract artwork is from Minted here. I love getting artwork from them!
The new little Chinoiserie planter on my coffee table came from a local thrift shop earlier this year. It was perfect for a lovely peace lily that a friend sent to my dad's funeral.
My other Staffordshire Dog pair was a gift from my husband...I really enjoy the blue on them. They're those classic Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, which is also what the printables are modeled after.

- And these Lily Pulitzer-inspired gift tag printables from 11 Magnolia Lane are seriously the sweetest.
Your living room has made quite a transformation! I love them both - I took a look at the link to the previous living room. You've interjected so much more color now and the Staffordshire dogs are just awesome - I never have seen those before but will look for them. They add a lot to your ecletic decor! - Suzanne
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Suzanne! I really appreciate that. This room is rather dark, so I thought adding color was the way to go with it. Appreciate your kind words. xoxo
