I had a reader request specifically for printable Secret Santa Gift Tags. Since I absolutely love the entire concept of Secret Santa (I have since I was in grade school), I couldn't not honor this particular request. I have four of these Secret Santa Gift Tags available below.
If your office, school, neighborhood, or whatever participates in the Secret Santa concept, these tags are totally for you! They make your Secret Santa gifting a breeze during an already crazy busy season. Just print a tag and attach it to your treat or gift for the day. Bada Bing. Bada Boom. Your work is done.

Secret Santa Gift Tags
The first time I participated in a Secret Santa exchange was in the fifth grade. I took this more seriously than anything else I can remember. We had a full week of gifting to the classmate we had drawn. I planned that week out like no other. I made most of the gifts by hand (with the help of Lisa Frank stickers and my Easy-Bake oven). And then the final gift, I had my mom take me to the best toy shop in town, where I handpicked items for a gift basket that I put together all on my own. And my person loved everything I had left him. I, of course, left all of these surprises with my most stealth action...picture Mission Impossible style hanging from the ceiling to drop a gift into a classmate's cubby. That week was everything to me. And the person who had drawn me did an equally elaborate job. It was as if our entire fifth grade had been so eager for that Secret Santa experience that we all put everything we could into that one week of fun. And boy was it fun.
I'm not sure the Secret Santa experiences since then have lived up to the fabulousness that the very first one had for me, but they're still such a fun time for all the friends participating.
Above, you can see how I cut the borders off of the gift tags, for a bit of a different look. You can leave them on, if you prefer, but I just wanted to give you an option.
Since the holiday time of the year can be, well, a lot of everything, these simple little Secret Santa Gift Tags are designed to make things a wee bit easier. You can print them off, cut them out, then just tape to simple little surprises each day. Tie one to a latte and you've got the perfect morning pick-me-up for your recipient.
Printing and Using Your Secret Santa Gift Tags
- These tags are for personal use only. Please do not use them for commercial uses or resell them in any manner.
- You can download these tags below. There are three download options for you to choose from.
- These tags should be printed onto white letter-sized cardstock. Regular paper is too thin and will curl up on the edges when cut.
- You can purchase a pack of white letter-sized cardstock here on Amazon. They have the best price I can find.
- After printing, you can either trim the cards on the inside or outside of their outline. See my above two images for examples of how each cutting method looks on the finished tags.
- Hole punch your tags for string or twine.
- Attach your tag to its gift and you're all set.
Blank Tags Also Available
Thanks to a great suggestion from reader, Marilyn at Pink Paper Cottage, I also added in a set of blank tags, as well. They're perfect to use on all of your Christmas presents...not just Secret Santa ones. Really appreciated the idea, Marilyn. These tags are also available in the download section below.
