I never thought we'd see snow in central Texas in November, but we actually had a couple of flurries earlier this week. I think that means it's the perfect time to post this free Let It Snow SVG and Printables. They're perfect to keep up in your home or office from now through the winter season. And the SVG is a versatile one that is simple to use (read: easy to weed). Download this Let It Snow SVG and Printables below.

And I actually have two versions of the Let It Snow printable, too. One with a snowflake-covered background and one without (pictured above). I intentionally used non-traditional holiday colors to give this one a chance to live on after the tree is put up and the lights are tucked back in the attic. Grab this Let It Snow SVG and Printables below.

Let It Snow SVG and Printables

It's definitely the season of all things cozy. My definition of "Let It Snow" is actually: "Let it snow outside as long as I'm inside and warm." Anyone else?

While I love the colorful printables, I think the Let It Snow SVG may be my favorite (pictured below in heat transfer vinyl on a canvas pillow). It's super simple, but that snowflake sure has my heart. The actual SVG is also in black and white so you can be creative with it. I shared below how it looks in two different colors of HTV on a tea towel.

How to Use the Let It Snow SVG

  • This Let It Snow SVG design is for personal use. However, if you'd like to use this SVG for your small business, please purchase a commercial license here or below. If you have any usage concerns or questions, you can see my complete Terms of Use
  • This SVG file is compatible with most software for both Cricut and Silhouette machines. I have also included the PNG file for those of you with a different type of software.
  • Don't have a vinyl cutting machine? I love my Silhouette Cameo that I've had for over five years (this is not a sponsored post). It's been a fantastic tool for me in my craft room and home.
  • I have a lot of friends who prefer the Cricut brand cutter. I am not familiar with the Cricut, myself, but my blogger friend, Amy (she's over at The Happy Scraps) has a great post about the Cricut Explore Air 2 here.
  • This Let It Snow SVG file is compatible with regular paper, cardstock, crafting vinyl, and heat transfer vinyl (HTV). There are loads of crafting projects to be done with this one, y'all!
  • I use heat transfer vinyl for kitchen towels, pillows, tote bags, blankets, and t-shirts. But regular crafting vinyl can create some adorable signs and mugs with this same design, too.
  • If you are using the heat transfer vinyl for your project, don't forget to both reverse the design within your design software. And then cut on the "wrong side" of the HTV. There is a Cricut guide on how to do this here. However, since I'm a Silhouette user, I always use Mandy's helpful HTV video here. Mandy is the blogger behind Sugar Bee Crafts.
  • All of my SVG and cut file designs that I share here on I Should Be Mopping the Floor are designed for those who are *somewhat* familiar with using SVG files with their vinyl machines. If you're newer to the world of SVG,  Kelly, over at Kelly Leigh Creates has an easy-to-follow tutorial on How to Use SVG Files.

Commercial Licensing

If you own a small business and would like to use this Let It Snow SVG File for your business, you can purchase a commercial license here. It is good to use on all of these SVGs listed here. If you'd like a commercial license for the printables, you can purchase it here.

Printing and Using the Let It Snow Printables

  • These printables come in 8x10" and 5x7" sizes. Both have options with or without the snowflake background.
  • The prints are available in both PDF and JPEG formats.
  • Just like the SVG files, these are for personal use only.
  • The 5x7" PDF has two of the designs per page, to waste less paper. There is one to keep and one to share.
  • When printing at home, be sure to use white letter-sized cardstock. Regular paper is too thin and can alter the appearance of the colors.
  • Print using the NORMAL setting on your printer.
  • The JPEGs can even be uploaded to your favorite photo printing place to be printed like an image.
  • Again, if you have a small business and would like to purchase a commercial license to use these, you can do so here

Colorful Let It Snow Printable

Why are the Designs Different?

My goal is usually to keep the coordinating printable and SVG designs as similar as possible. However, they are indeed, a bit different than one another in this particular case. The snowflake looked out of place in the actual printable, so I went with a snowflake backdrop, instead (on the ones with backgrounds). And I needed a more vertical instead of square design, so a few twirly-whirlies (that is the technical term, I believe) were added in, as well.
