Gosh, I love a good Christmas Countdown Printable, in any form. Today's is a simple and user-friendly one that is designed to be framed and used with dry-erase marker as the days in December get ticked off one by one. This free Christmas Countdown Printable is available in two sizes and two formats below.

Christmas Countdown Printable
While an elaborate Christmas countdown activity can be so much fun for the entire family, as my kids have gotten a bit older, simpler has become the name of the game. This Christmas Countdown Printable is a one-sheet printable that is easy to change up each day with a bit of wiping and re-writing. It can't get easier than that, right?

I sometimes think dry erase markers don't get enough credit for their awesomeness. I've made a few printables using the glass-in-a-frame-with-dry-erase and they're always some of my faves (readers seem to really enjoy them, too!). It's interactive, yet, not overly involved or complicated. That's a win-win in my book.

The above photo is just to show another way to display, however, it does take away from the ability to easily change out the number every day without a frame. But, a piece of washi tape is always kind of fun, too.

Christmas Countdown Bags
If you prefer something a bit more interactive, I also have these Free Printable Christmas Countdown Bags from a few years back. I used to always do these for my kids with small trinkets and treats from the dollar store. Or, even an activity that I wrote down and placed in a bag (cocoa and a holiday movie was always a fave!).

Printing and Using this Christmas Countdown Printable

  • This Christmas Countdown Printable is for personal use only. But, if you do own a small shop or business and would like to carry the printed versions of these signs (no digital reselling is allowed), you may purchase a commercial license here.
  • You'll be able to download the size of your choice below. This printable is available in both 8x10" and 5x7" options. Both are available in JPEG or PDF formats.
  • I recommend using white letter-sized cardstock for at-home printing (especially when printing the PDF formats which are both designed for letter-sized formats).
  • Again, this printable is designed to be used inside of a frame (either 5x7" or 8x10") with the glass in its place. Use a dry erase marker every day to change out the number.
  • The printable already has the words "Days Until Christmas" on it. You just fill in each day with your dry erase marker.

  4. Kristi,
Thanks for another gem in printables. I am using this one to make for friends who have young grandchildren. I will frame them and all the recipients have to do is use an erasable marker to pen in the "days left." I will start my granddaughter's on Dec. 1. You do a wonderful job in sharing freebies with your readers!
