Gosh, I love a good Christmas Countdown Printable, in any form. Today's is a simple and user-friendly one that is designed to be framed and used with dry-erase marker as the days in December get ticked off one by one. This free Christmas Countdown Printable is available in two sizes and two formats below.
While an elaborate Christmas countdown activity can be so much fun for the entire family, as my kids have gotten a bit older, simpler has become the name of the game. This Christmas Countdown Printable is a one-sheet printable that is easy to change up each day with a bit of wiping and re-writing. It can't get easier than that, right?
Christmas Countdown Printable
I sometimes think dry erase markers don't get enough credit for their awesomeness. I've made a few printables using the glass-in-a-frame-with-dry-erase and they're always some of my faves (readers seem to really enjoy them, too!). It's interactive, yet, not overly involved or complicated. That's a win-win in my book.
The above photo is just to show another way to display, however, it does take away from the ability to easily change out the number every day without a frame. But, a piece of washi tape is always kind of fun, too.
If you prefer something a bit more interactive, I also have these Free Printable Christmas Countdown Bags from a few years back. I used to always do these for my kids with small trinkets and treats from the dollar store. Or, even an activity that I wrote down and placed in a bag (cocoa and a holiday movie was always a fave!).

- Again, this printable is designed to be used inside of a frame (either 5x7" or 8x10") with the glass in its place. Use a dry erase marker every day to change out the number.

DeleteKristi,
ReplyDeleteThanks for another gem in printables. I am using this one to make for friends who have young grandchildren. I will frame them and all the recipients have to do is use an erasable marker to pen in the "days left." I will start my granddaughter's on Dec. 1. You do a wonderful job in sharing freebies with your readers!
What a fantastic idea, Barb! Love the idea of gifting this one. Hoping they have a fun time counting down the days. Thank you so much for your kind words. xoxo
