I have more than one free printable banner lined up for this fall series, but I'm totally in love with today's design, if I may so so myself. In our kitchen, I went with a blue and orange scheme for fall decor this year and this little banner was my initial design inspiration. You can download this free printable banner for fall below.
Printable banners are one of my absolute favorite things to design. They're so easy to display: no frame needed (just grab a bit of twine or string). They're fantastic to drape just about anywhere and add some seasonal flair to a space. Download this pumpkin-covered printable banner below for your fall decor.

If you come around here much, you know I've shown some serious restraint in waiting six whole days into this series without a bit of buffalo check making an appearance on a printable. I have used plaid (which is close), but not my go-to favorite: good ol' buffalo check (in blue and white watercolors, no less). It's been an act of sheer will power to not use this pattern on every single print, but I know you're all quite thankful. However, I couldn't see this banner with anything other than a kicky check pattern anchoring those sweet lil' watercolor pumpkins.
Above, you can see this little banner displayed using hole punches and twine...nothing special is required to display this printable. I shared later in this post how I also use mini clothespins to display banners, too.
I wanted a different color scheme for fall decor this year...something other than my usual reds, oranges, and browns. So, oranges and blues it was (with a nod to all of my blue and white dishes). It all started in my kitchen. I didn't do a ton of fall decorating this year, but you know I had to do my coffee bar area...that post is coming up later this month.
Here's just a small little snippet of the coffee bar (pictured above). I will be sharing a COFFEE version of this printable banner, too. Look for it towards the end of the month with my entire coffee bar decor fun. While I inherited a lot of my blue and white dishes from my late Aunt Margaret, I recently scored a big cardboard box full of both blue and white Spode and Blue Willow dishes for $6 at my Salvation Army. I couldn't believe my luck (the Blue Willow dishes had complete service for eight). It inspired me to bring out all of my blue and white dishes into every corner of my kitchen and breakfast area.
Printing and Using Your Free Printable Banner
- You can download this banner below.
- Each pennant measures roughly the same as a business card, so this is a bit on the petite size, compared to some of my other free printable banners.
- Banners should always be printed onto letter-sized white cardstock. Regular paper is too thin for this usage. It will curl up on the points.
- You can purchase a ream of letter-sized white cardstock here on Amazon. They always have the best price on this. I get my own cardstock there.
- You can display this banner using simple jute twine or even baker's twine. I used my orange and white baker's twine for a fun look on my own banner.
- Grab a roll of orange and white baker's twine here on Amazon (it's where I grab mine).
- When hole punching this banner, be sure to use a smaller-sized 1/8" hole punch (this is not the standard-sized hole punch, as you can see in the image above). The smaller hole doesn't interfere with the design on this smaller-style banner, like the standard size would.
- If you prefer to skip hole punching, you can also hang this banner's pennants using miniature clothespins (the last banner image in this post shows how that looks).
