These Fall Mums prints have a little something extra for you...an oversized 11x14" version! They also have all of our standard sizes available, as well. But, I thought a larger printable might be a fun route to go with this one. I have printing and framing tips for the larger size, too (it would look darling on a mantel). Check out these free Fall Mums printables below.
Mums always seem to be that unofficial flower of the fall, don't they? While pumpkins are kind of the star of the show, mums are a great alternative for fall decor and color. They have so many vibrant hues and great textures, too. I already have my first mum planted on my back porch (fingers crossed it survives our 100 degree temps until the actual arrival of fall). Grab your fall mums printables below.

Not only is today's printable a nice pumpkin alternative, it's also a horizontal print, which isn't usually our norm (but is requested quite a bit). And with the oversized printing options on this one, you can easily make this printable a nice focal point of your fall decor. To add some whimsy and fun to it, the watercolor-polka dotted background (in goldenrod!) is a sweet little way to anchor the entire design. The colorful rows of mums remind me of the nurseries around here come September. Isn't it always a treat to select the perfect plant to take home with you?
Printing Tips for Your Fall Mums Printables
- You can download your preferred size below, in the download links area of this post.
- This printable is available in the following sizes:
- 11x14" (both PDF and JPEG versions)
- 8x10" (both PDF and JPEG)
- I changed this up a bit and offered JPEGs on my 8x10" size after seeing how easy they are to print through Walgreens (but, it looks like they only accept the JPEG format).
- 5x7" (both PDF and JPEG; the PDF pages have two images)
- 4x6" (both PDF and JPEG; the PDF pages have two images)
- When printing on a home printer (not a photo printer), I recommend using the PDF formatted printables so your sizing stays consistent.
- The JPEG images can easily be uploaded to a photo-printing store or company. See below for information on uploading the 11x14" size.
- Both the 8x10" PDF as well as the PDF versions of the 4x6" and 5x7" are designed to be printed onto letter-sized pages to make it easy on you.
- White cardstock works best for printables of this nature. It results in a cleaner print with truer colors.
- Grab letter-sized white cardstock here on Amazon for the best price around...it's where I purchase mine.
I rarely design oversized prints. They're a bit trickier to print and can be such large file sizes, too. However, it's fun to throw one in every now and again. Today, we have an 11x14" option for you (it's available in both JPEG and PDF for easy printing. I was able to print mine through my local Walgreens (they actually have poster prints of this nature half off for the next few days). This isn't a sponsored post, I just really appreciated how simple it was to print the oversized options through Walgreens (and pick it right up in the store at the photo counter).
Simply head to their site and click on the photo options. You'll be able to upload and select your options. I turned each of the prints on their side, so it will always print correctly for you.
Framing Oversized Printables
I found a couple of great frames for the 11x14" sized printables over on Amazon. I have information on both of them below:
The above frame is nice and sturdy with a simple, rustic finish to it. It's perfect for fall. Ironically, it's called a Rotten Brown finish (that just totally makes me laugh every time I see it). What I like about this frame is that it's 11x14", however, it also comes with a mat so you can use it for 8x10" sized prints, too. That's super handy if you change out your printables seasonally (I know who you are!).
- Find this "Rotten Brown" frame here on Amazon.
- There is also a "Rotten White" version of the frame here on Amazon.

As I'm working hard to get my newer blog, Print Pretty Cards, off the ground, I thought it would be fun to do a few companion printables over there for this fall series. These free printable Fall Greeting Cards are available over there. Although the wording is different, the design is the exact same as these Fall Mums Printables.

LOVE the mums Kristi! I really liked the pumpkins also from the other day! I saw the frame you showed the plaid pumpkins in, and used it again for the mums - it is narrow wood. It looks different from the Rotten Brown frame you mention. Can you please let me know where that frame is from? Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteHi Stacy-- Thank you so much for your kind words. I *think* the frame you're talking about is a homemade one that works well for photography purposes due to its lack of glass. I apologize that this isn't more helpful. I have seen something similar at my local Hobby Lobby, though. So glad you stopped by! xoxo
Deletethank you for these gorgeous mum printables!
