It's wedding season, y'all. And with weddings come fun bridal showers. If you're helping organize a shower, I've got free printable bridal shower games ready to help you out. These watercolor and floral free printable bridal shower games are not only a lovely addition to your party, they're also a great ice breaker and entertainment for your guests.
Bridal showers are such a fun celebration. But, chances are, not every guest knows everyone at the party. It's nice to have a couple of icebreakers going (even if they're just in the background) to help add some excitement and make everyone relax a bit. I've got a couple of great ones to share with you today. Fire up your printer and download these free printable bridal shower games below.
Free Printable Bridal Shower Games
When I was a kid, I remember going with my mother to a wedding shower. We had to put clothespins on our skirt hems that kept getting stolen when we said certain words. It was a fun game to mingle with other guests and giggle quite a bit, too. Ironically, I won the whole thing. I was eight and basically blew it out of the water. It was probably due to the fact that I wasn't nearly as interested in the bride-to-be's new Corningware and bath towels as I was in getting a fun gift to take home for winning this thing (although, my mom whispered to me that the polite thing to do was to give my prize to bride...upon which I was gutted. Thankfully, the bride was kind to eight-year-old me and gave it right back). The modern version of that silly ol' clothespin game is one of the free printable bridal shower games I'm featuring below: Put a Ring On It. I'm also sharing the He Said, She Said printable, too. And, I even have a fun add-on pack of six more games in my shop, for all of you die-hard bridal shower gamers (it includes the infamous, What's in Your Purse? game).
Free Games Included:
- He Said, She Said
- This unique game requires a little consulting with the bride before the shower begins. Or, have her to tell her answers to the crowd at the end of the game, so participants can add up their scores.
- Included are both 8.5x11" and 5x7" versions of the game. Both versions are PDFs for easy, at-home printing (but you can also upload to your local print shop). The 5x7" sizes come two to a page, to help you save a bit of cardstock. But, I do recommend the larger, 8.5x11" version, especially if there are older guests at the shower, for easier reading.
- Put a Ring On It (this is the new version of the "collecting clothespins" game).
- Included in this free bridal shower game are both 8x10" and 5x7" versions of the game. You can frame either one and have it ready for guests to read and take part in, as soon as they arrive. The 5x7" is a JPEG, so you can print it like a photo, if you prefer. The 8x10" prints onto letter-sized cardstock. Just trim and frame.
The Put a Ring On It game is a great interactive game to get your guests mingling. I have information on the rings below.
- Guests must avoid using the words "bride" or "wedding".
- When a guest says one of those words, another guest can steal their ring.
- Collect the most rings and win a prize at the end of the shower. I have some prize ideas below for you, as well.
- I grabbed a really inexpensive bunch of faux engagement rings on Amazon here. They're perfect for this game (and make silly little bridal shower keepsakes, too...although, I'm fairly certain they may turn your finger green.).
- Display your rings in a bowl near the game rules, so each guest can grab one.
The He Said, She Said game is a fun bridal shower game to guess which person in the couple does what. It's all innocent fun...and makes for some pretty good giggles, too!
Other Items Needed to Play these Free Printable Games for a Bridal Shower:
- Download the free printables for these games below.
- As I mentioned above, you'll need an inexpensive pack of faux diamond rings for the Put a Ring On It game.
- Grab those here on Amazon.
- You can place your rings in a small dish for guests to use.
- For He Said, She Said (along with the other games you may be interested in below), it might be helpful to have clipboards for your guests to utilize.
- You'll also need a pack of pens or pencils, so each guest can use one for the He Said, She Said game (or any other games with write-in options).
- I highly recommend printing these free printable bridal shower games onto white cardstock. Plain paper is really too thin for this use.
- Grab a ream of white cardstock here on Amazon for the best price around (it's where I get mine!).
