'Tis the season to love on those teachers who love on our kids day in and day out. Truly, we should show these fantastic people appreciation every day of the year, but I do love that there is an entire week set aside every spring with them in mind. I have lots of fun (and FREE!) Teacher SVG files for you to use on cute gifts for your teachers...from tote bags to t-shirts to pillows...the possibilities are endless with the designs I'm sharing today. Most of these designs were inspired by both my Teacher Week Printables as well as my Watercolor Teacher Printables...they worked out perfectly to turn into cut files for your Cricut or Silhouette. Download all of your faves below (and get some usage tips, as well).

Free Teacher SVG Cut Files

The ever-popular vinyl cutting machines (like the Silhouette and Cricut brands) are fantastic to use for home decor, clothing, gifts, and so much more. Today, we're focusing on some handmade gifts for teachers using these machines. 

I have an older Silhouette Cameo...I still use this five-year-machine for these types of projects. It's a great one and still does the job without issue. My favorite thing is to make gifts with my Silhouette (like the ones I'm sharing below). I used to purchase graphics from the online provider that works with my design software, but lately, I've been making some of my own. Hoping you love this new set of free Teacher SVG files as much as you all loved my previous free SVG posts. I have updated these to also include the PNG files, as well. If you're well-versed in using PNGs in your vinyl machine's software, you may prefer those. Grab your favorite cut files below.

Using these Teacher SVG Files:

• These Teacher SVG files are compatible with all software for both Cricut and Silhouette machines.
• Don't own a vinyl cutting machine? I truly enjoy my Silhouette Cameo that I've had for five years (Silhouette is not sponsoring this post!). You can grab the current Silhouette Cameo and its starter kit here on Amazon.
• A lot of my blogger friends use the Cricut brand cutter. I am not familiar with it, myself, by my friend, Amy (she blogs at The Happy Scraps) has lots of great tips and ideas for the Cricut here. And see the starter bundle for the Cricut on Amazon here.
• Download the Teacher SVG files you like below.
• Open each individual file in the design software for your cutting machine.
• Again, I've included PNG files this time. SVG files are the preferred format (you can ungroup the images, change the colors, etc.). SVG files are just a lot easier to use and more compatible with most design software for Silhouettes and Cricuts. But, many of you have requested the PNG files, so they're included, too.
• All of these Teacher SVG files are compatible with both vinyl and heat transfer vinyl: the possibilities here are endless!
• I enjoy using heat transfer vinyl (or HTV) for pillows and t-shirts. But regular vinyl can create some lovely signs and mugs with these pretties.
• Don't forget, if you're using heat transfer vinyl, you'll need to both reverse your design, as well as print on the "wrong side" of your HTV. There is a helpful Cricut tutorial to do this here. But, since I'm a Silhouette user, I swear by (and often refer to) Mandy's HTV video here.
• You are more than welcome to use all of these Teacher SVG files for personal use, including gifts. If you'd like to use any of these files for your small business, you may purchase a commercial license here.

Resizing Your Teacher SVG Files

• Once you've downloaded your teacher SVG files, open each file in your own design software to use as you normally would. 
• To resize each image, grab the "handles" in the corners to pull them to the desired size (see what I mean in the above image). I intentionally create these SVG files on the bigger size for those of you making large signs and such. 
• Once you've resized your cut file, you can send it to cut and the cut lines will automatically populate. If you want, feel free to tinker with it for using multiple vinyl colors, etc.

I'm doing you guys a solid on this particular cut file. I created two versions of it. Let's face it, weeding the outlines of the fun, preppy "teaching" lettering is a pain in the patoot. But, some of you die hards will be like "psssh, give me my weeding tool, I'm going in". And for those folks, these files are directly below (fist bumps and prayers headed your way). God bless those who even use multiple vinyl colors like pictured above. But, for those of us who may want a shortcut, I have a simpler version of this design below the next image. I have your back.
