Hearts Printable
A bunch of pretty watercolor hearts just kind of make me happy. I threw in an aqua one for funsies, too. This sweet little heart printable is subtle and simple for decor. So many of my free printables have lots of quotes or words, but sometimes it's nice to do one with just pretties.

Valentine's Heart Printable

In a weird way, I sometimes enjoy Valentine's decor more than Christmas. It's less pressure, ya know? I feel like I have to make sure to get all of the special items and keepsakes out for the holidays, but with Valentine's...it's anything goes. Plus, we don't have a lot of family gatherings and such. It's just for us to enjoy...so no pressure. I know seasonal decor shouldn't have any pressure to it, but I'm one of those self-inflicting pressure people. It's super fun.

This sweet little heart printable is one of my favorites this year. I showed it to you earlier this week here, displayed on my Valentine's Coffee and Hot Cocoa Bar. And since there is always team horizontal and team vertical, I created both for ya.

I happen to be team horizontal on my coffee bar.

Printing Tips for Your Heart Printable

  • Since this print is a watercolor one, you won't need a ton of ink on it. Feel free to set your printer to "DRAFT MODE". This creates a more authentic look to watercolor printables like this one.
  • I highly recommend using white cardstock to print on, instead of regular printer paper. When you frame a printable, regular paper can be so thin that whatever is behind the print (like the grey cardboard frame backing) will show right through the regular paper and give the printable a very greyish tone. Cardstock eliminates that, altogether. Grab white cardstock here on Amazon for the best price.
  • Just print on letter-sized cardstock, trim, and frame.

  1. This is adorable! I like it both ways. It would just depend on where I want to hang it as to which direction I would choose.

  2. Love this! thank you so much. I also like it both ways. In the space that I am currently using, vertical works best. However, that could change. Also, I think sometimes it really depends on the image itself. Again, thank you so much.

  3. Hello Friend,
Vertical works best! Love the fact that there is no words. I haven't put up any Valentine's decor yet. I was super thrilled to see you Valentine's Hot Cocoa bar. Because I still have mine up from Christmas. Now i see I only need a few decorated adjustments ( as I say while I am drinking hot cocoa). Thanks again for all your sharing of knowledge .Also your weight loss is amazing. You look Beautiful .

    1. Oh yay! I love that. Yes, I probably need to pull out a few clipboards for some other prints I'm working on...they make the best "frames". Hope you're doing well. xoxo

  5. I just ADORE so much of your artwork!!! I lean towards the vertical ones, b/c I have an 11x14 frame on my covered front porch with an 8x10 mat, and the hanger on the back of it is for vertical pictures, but I could get some wire and change it if I wanted to, I suppose. I swap out the pictures seasonally, and I have hundreds (yes, HUNDREDS!!!) of printables (it drives my hubs crazy), but I LOVE to decorate my porch for the seasons. So thank you so much for your adorable artwork, I love it so much!!!

  7. I gave up on decorating for Valentine's Day when my kids were still in school. Now that you've come out with these super cute prints, that has all changed! I love your ideas so much that I have a few frames dedicated to your printables and I just swap them out with each change of the holiday or season. Thank you so much!
