Let's face it...we're all busy. And even for a crafter like myself, sometimes it's easier to buy something rather than DIY it. In years past, I've made my kids' Advent calendars and while it was super fun and they were adorable, I'm flat out of time this year. So, I've rounded up (and even tested) some of the best Advent calendars on Amazon that are are super inexpensive.

Who else grew up with the classic perforated-cardboard-window-opening Advent calendars? Every year, my mom would buy one of these pieces of nostalgia at the commissary and it would be such a treat...especially if it was a chocolate-filled one! These days, pre-made Advent calendars can be hard to come by. I stumbled onto some last year at Tuesday Morning, but other than that, these are hard to find in major stores. Enter Amazon. Instead of trudging all over town this year, I found a bunch of these online. I bought a few to make sure they were legit. And truly, I think I've found some of the best Advent calendars (well, ready-made ones, at least) out there. Check them all out below.

After testing out several of the best Advent calendars on Amazon, my family fell in love with this one that I mentioned above: the Stained Glass Nativity Advent Calendar.

Each window on this Stained Glass Nativity Advent Calendar has a Christmas-based scripture inside, along with a lovely matching picture (above). It's definitely our favorite...and a really beautiful one, too!
