Our Colorful Outdoor Patio Makeover is pretty much complete. Grab a glass of sweet tea and pull up an adirondack for this little tour of our space, y'all. This complete outdoor patio is featured below.
Colorful Outdoor Patio Makeover
We've been sitting out here every evening we possibly can...just basking in the glow of these LIGHTS and enjoying our work on this space. Check out all of the nitty gritty details of this outdoor patio area below, including our awesomesauce Enbrighten Seasons Color Changing Café Lights (you guys...they change colors via remote!).How this Outdoor Patio Came Together:
Earlier this week, I shared how we constructed our new patio table out of a door. Today, I'm so excited to share this entire outdoor patio space...it's definitely added an entirely new living area to our home.
Before I show you all of the FUN, I have to tell you about these lights. Ummm...they're everything. I get to do some fun posts with cool home products here and there, but even my husband agrees with me when I say these lights are life-changing. We've installed party lights on our previous patio areas, but these are by far the nicest ones we have ever used. I love them so much, I'm going to get some for my office, too...I'd love to add that fun element of overhead party lights in there (since there is literally no overhead lighting at all in there right now). The color changing aspect takes these to a level I never even envisioned (there is a setting just with AQUA, y'all, it's like they had ME in mind!). We go from dimming to strobe to rainbow to solid...to whatever! They're truly amazing.
They work their magic with the flip of a switch...on a remote (I know, right?).
Since we can see our outdoor patio area from all aspects of our home (our house is a bit of a horseshoe around our patio), I can turn them on from inside and see their pretty glow from several spots within the home.
When it's raining, we'll hang out on the couch in the sunroom and watch their glow. It's definitely almost summer in central Texas...the rainstorms have been pretty intense lately. We left the lights on during an entire storm last week and they were just fine...I grabbed the above photo to show how pretty the reflection of the lights is on the wet patio. Jasco’s Enbrighten Color Changing Lights are so stinkin' durable and heavy duty. They haven't been phased by any of our crazytown storms that have rolled in.
And look how gorgeous the bulbs are. While we were hanging them, my son accidentally dropped and stepped on them (niiiiice), and they were completely unscathed. I love the bubbles that are in the thick glass of each vintage-looking bulb.
Just to give you an idea of how the color-changing mode completely changes the feel on the patio, the below two photos were taken in the same position as the above photo, just with the lights in different modes. (The above mode is the two-color option...we chose orange and aqua).
The strobing rainbow option is pictured above.
Another rainbow pattern, above. Rainbow and aqua...it was like they saw me coming.
It feels like a party out here all the time now!
It's been such a great space to enjoy now.
Besides the table that we built, we have a couple of small conversational areas, too. I shared the rainbow centerpiece cans in this tutorial for our fence garden.
I also created this fun patio sign to fill this empty corner.
That's my chair on the left. I'm slightly territorial.
I can't wait to have people over to enjoy this space even more. I see lots of holidays and meals happening out here...
and dare I say dance parties in the big open space?!?

The Enbrighten Color Changing Café Lights by Jasco have been the star of the show out here, for sure. We have lived with just a flood light and a small porch light for over a year in this space...these new party lights have been such a huge improvement. They have a built-in timer and are linkable up to 750 feet (we have four strands linked here).
Omg I love those lights! Esp the rainbow! And amazing job on your patio!
