Creating These Teacher Appreciation Printables:

These six printables took on a life of their own as I created them...I changed the layout over a dozen times. And then just went with simple, multi-colored, super-saturated, watercolor letters. I love how the bright colors of the letters pop against their white backgrounds. When I initially published this set in 2017, it went a bit wild on me! As I mentioned above, this has, by far, been my most popular set of printables to date. I love that it is all about teacher appreciation, too. My husband is a school principal, so we love us some teachers, y'all!

When is Teacher Appreciation Week?

For 2019, the official National Teacher Appreciation Week falls from Monday, May 6th through Friday, May 10th. For our schools, I usually try to celebrate the teachers each day of the week with a small token of appreciation...like today's Teacher Appreciation Printables. It's a great week to let those shining stars in the classroom know how very much they're loved and valued. Teacher Appreciation Week became an officially celebrated time of the school year  established by the National PTA in 1985.

Printing and Framing your Teacher Appreciation Printables:

• These printables were created for both 8x10" and 5x7" frames. The new 5x7" format is a recent addition after a lot of reader requests. 
• When you purchase this set of teacher appreciation printables, you will see the option to download the entire 8x10" PDF bundle or each print in a 5x7" JPEG format. Since the 5x7" designs are in JPEG files, they are individual downloads (grab one or all of them!). 
• If printing the 8x10" sizes, I highly recommend printing on to white letter-sized cardstock paper. Even when framing, cardstock is thicker and will appear as a truer white background than regular printer paper. While the actual design's size is 8x10", it is designed to print onto a letter-sized page. Simply print it out and then trim it for your frame. Or, display on a cute clipboard that can be a part of the actual gift (no need to trim after printing, if you go that route). 
• To print the 5x7" JPEGS, print just like you would any photo. I have included an image release form, too, if you need it for printing at a professional printing service.
