Ahhh...spring is definitely in the air! My house is about ready to welcome it with open arms...and my table is totally ready for Easter brunch, as well. I put together this Easter Tablescape on a Budget with loads of goodies from the 99 Cents Only store. I've also included the free printable bunny placecards for you to use, too.
I truly love Easter...a time of complete renewal. We love celebrating Easter with friends and family over a traditional brunch. Ham, biscuits, and a festive Easter tablescape are all a part of my springtime love language. But why break the budget, y'all? This Easter table keeps things in check while still bringing out the cuteness. You don't have to spend a fortune to go all out on your seasonal decor. Check out all of the details of this year's tablescape below.
Like I mentioned above, I was able to keep this on a shoestring budget by shopping for all of the decor at the 99. I love that 99 Cents Only Stores have all of your favorite name brands at a price that can't be beat. Their Easter aisle alone is completely drool-worthy. I captured some photos of my favorite details below (you'll see lots of these items incorporated into my tablescape).

My eyes were bigger than my tablescape...I totally grabbed more items than I used (ummm...how could I not, y'all?). No worries, everything was put to good use somewhere in my home's Easter decor (the aqua, sequined eggs look amazing in our built-ins). But, I think my favorite purchase was the grass. I used these squares to form a fun table runner...I've got more details on it below.
There is always something new and exciting at the 99. You never know what you'll find when you "do the 99" (shop at 99 Cents Only Stores)!

I found these fun faux eggs in the Easter aisle at the 99. They're plastic, but have a slightly porous exterior that holds paint so well. I painted them in fun colors (I ended up only using the aqua eggs on my tablescape, but I couldn't help myself and kept right on painting some lavender ones, too). I used twine to attach the aqua eggs to the trees I created for my centerpieces.
The eggs have little plastic pieces on the ends that pop right out.
I just hot glued twine into the holes to make them perfect for hanging.
I let the hot glue on the eggs cool and worked on my table. I always keep burlap down the middle of the table for texture. I added those fun faux grass squares from the 99 right down the middle of the table, on top of the burlap. I used twelve squares right next to one another to form the base of my tablescape. This added so much life to the table with its bright green color...and totally budget-friendly!
These squares are available in the garden aisle of the 99. They have a variety of options for these...fun textures and colors. I thought about the boxwood-style, but then decided eggs on grass was more Easter-y. I may go back and grab the boxwood squares for another time, though.
On top of the grass squares, I used quart-sized mason jars that I found at the 99. I also grabbed bags of river rock at the 99 to fill the jars with (I was really torn between their river rock bags or the flattened aqua marbles, but went with the natural look). Each mason jar took one full bag of the rocks. I stuck branches I cut off from my front yard trees into the rocks to make mini Easter tree centerpieces, perfect to hang my pretty painted eggs on!
The mason jars and river rocks are located in the same aisle of my 99 Cents Only Store...it's the last aisle of the store at our location, with the greenery and floral items.
I love how these mini Easter trees came together!
I scattered a few extra eggs on the grass runner, along with some larger, decorative eggs (also from the 99).
And, can we talk about the preciousness that is these bunny plates for a moment?
When I spotted them at the 99, I knew they were going in my buggy...
because aqua bunnies are my spirit animal, y'all (really, anything aqua...amiright?).
Mason jars, aqua everything, fun texture-y grass...this table screams ME! ;)
My son was delighted when I asked him to iron our linen napkins for the umpteenth time this year...he just *loves* when we use these for more fancy gatherings. If you'd prefer, you can also grab loads of Easter paper goods at the 99 for your brunch or Easter shindig, too...less dishes and less ironing is a win-win for my preteen, y'all.
These larger aqua eggs are so fun and full of texture...
I just removed the ribbon so they could sit on the grass runner.
I bought three sets of ceramic bunny salt and pepper shakers at the 99, because the preciousness of these cuties got me! And, I do love to have a set of these at each end of the table, within easy reach for my guests to grab.
Those bunny plates are perfect for the "tidbits"...appetizers and whatnots served before that big ol' ham takes centerstage. Oh, and be sure to grab all of your fresh produce for your Easter brunch at the 99. It's great to save money on allllll the stuff for the big day!
We're ready for the big brunch, y'all! Pull up a seat.
I also used items from the 99 on my buffet in the dining room as well.
They had a great selection of greenery to give a more tropical/spring look to my olive jar.
I honestly thought about using some of the florals instead of my little trees as a centerpiece, but then went with the whole aqua theme, overall.
On the other side of the buffet, I have little take-home favors ready for guests to grab.
I totally 99'ed those burlap bunny bags, too.
I grabbed these cute carrot shaped chocolates to stuff in my bags. They were in the candy section of the Easter aisle. I may have to use the bunny bags for teacher gifts, too...because who doesn't love a good cotton tailed bunny on burlap?

Kristi, everything looks so pretty! You are very creative! I have to admit, I'm a sucker for Aqua too! I also love that you like bubble glass. Your glasses are similar to ones that I have.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day and thanks for sharing!
What a pretty tablescape and I can't believe all these cuties are very cheap! I can almost smell Easter and I love all your ideas. I wish we also had a 99 cents store near us.

ReplyDeleteI want to come over to your house for Easter! How fun!! My kids would love these decorations and tablescape. We do not really decorate our table, not sure why! lol But maybe we need to do this for Easter. Love all of the fun spring colors!
ReplyDeleteThese are really cute ideas, love them! I love that color of blue, Easter really brings out the shades of color that I love the most. Pastels have always been so pretty and inviting when used on a table. I can't wait to decorate here but sadly have not started yet!
ReplyDeleteWow this is beautiful! I have never been crafty or even good at decorating. I love how inexpensive these ideas are. I'm book marking this to come back to when I'm ready for Easter.
