I've actually got a few of these bunny banners going on around the house...
they're multiplying like, well, bunnies.
Printing and Using Your Bunny Banner
Bunny Banner Supplies:
- free printable patterned bunnies (link below)
- white, letter-sized cardstock to print your bunnies on (grab a pack here on Amazon)
- cotton balls
- twine to hang banner onto (I prefer a jute twine like this one on Amazon here.)
- glue (I used hot glue to make the process faster.)
- hole punch (I prefer to use a smaller, 1/8" punch to not interfere with the design too much. You can grab one here on Amazon.)
- scissors
Bunny Banner Directions
- After downloading, print your bunnies onto your white, letter-sized cardstock.
- Cut out as many bunnies as you'll need for the length of banner you desire.
- Cut your cotton balls in half and then into fourths.
- Roll the cut cotton ball between your fingers to give it a natural "bunny tail" shape.
- Glue it on to your bunny's tail area. ;)
- Punch two holes, about half an inch apart on the ridge of the bunny's back.
- Again, using the smaller 1/8" punch is less conspicuous than a standard punch. (You can grab one here on Amazon.)
- String your bunnies together (see placement tip below)
I'm usually not particular with how I string banners, but in this case, I kind of am. On this free printable bunny banner, I prefer to string from back to front to back (leaving the twine showing just between the hole punches on the bunny). This way, the ears aren't in the way when the bunny is hanging on the twine.
You can make so many things with these patterned bunnies...but banners are my fave.
