This is one of my favorite hymns we sing during the Easter season. I thought I'd make it into a Free Printable Watercolor Easter Card and 8x10 Print. I truly thought about adding in the ah-ah-ah-ah-ah before the Alleluia...because that's one of my favorite parts.
My brother, Dale, always sends us an Easter card every year (or gives it to us in person if we have dinner together that day). He's always very thoughtful with cards. Naturally, I spend so much time on the sillier things (making sure everyone's Easter outfit is just right, making deviled eggs and ham, and putting the finishing touches on baskets) that I feel like such a heel when he hands me my card (and I don't reciprocate, blargh). Every. Year. So, I'm slightly thinking ahead this year. I created this card with him in mind...I know he'll appreciate it and treasure the meaning this time of the year. And hey, I still have time for the eggs, no?
Watercolor Easter Card and Printable
With the beauty of this hymn, I wanted to keep this card super simple. Leaf frame and brush lettering...letting the words speak out on their own. These cards are designed to fit an A2 invitation envelope. You can find those for a good price here.
And, I've started to see a pattern when I release a print like this...I usually get a few emails asking for the print in a frame-able size. So, I thought I'd get ahead of the game and create one. The below is available in an 8x10 download.
(This prints on a standard letter-sized page, with a faint line around the card's perimeter for trimming. This card works best printed onto card stock. Click here to buy it inexpensively.)
