It's no big secret that I LOVE me some fonts. Have you seen all of my font collections? Yeah...loooove. And I also love me some red, white, and blue kind of fun, too, y'all. This is one of my favorite times of the year...the most patriotic and fun season of them all. Here are some of my absolute favorite America-ish patriotic font downloads that I enjoy to using on printables and with my vinyl crafts. Let the downloading fun commence below.

The fourth of July is more like a season than a holiday, right? I mean...it's what summer kind of exists around. These 21 free Patriotic Font Downloads are the perfect way to add in a little extra cheer to your celebrations. Use them on printables, art pieces, menu cards, invitations, and so much more. 

How to Download these Patriotic Fonts:

• All of these fun patriotic font downloads listed out below are available via DaFont. I've linked each patriotic font directly to its download page on their site.
• Once you click through to the DaFont site, you will click the button that says 'download' on the right side of the page.

• Once you have downloaded the patriotic font of your choice, you'll need to unzip the file.
• On a PC, right-click to select 'Extract All'. Then simply follow the instructions.
• On a Mac, double click the zipped file and the file will automatically unzip for you.

Installing Your Patriotic Font Downloads

• I've been a loyal Mac user for over 20 years. What's weird is, I couldn't even begin to tell you how to install fonts on a PC. However, I do recommend this nifty font installing guide for PC users here on Wikihow.
• To install these patriotic fonts on a Mac (since this my platform of choice, I feel more confident explaining this), follow my step-by-step instructions below:
• After your file has been unzipped, you can open the individual folder of the font (there may not be one, it may just be the actual file, in which case, you won't have to open a folder). You can see in the image above what I mean.
• Double click the .ttf or .otf file (I prefer .otf. or Open Type Format files if they're available, they can be resized and manipulated without changing the quality. But, they're not always included in font downloads). 

• After you have double clicked your .ttf or .otf file, a dialog box (pictured above) should automatically pop up for you.
• Click 'Install Font'. Your installation should begin automatically (it only takes a few seconds, total).
• Be sure to check your Mac's Font Book to make sure your just-installed patriotic font is in there (they're listed alphabetically). You should be able to start using your new font immediately in your computer's applications.
• If you can't locate the font in your application for use, close out all of your running applications and restart your computer. Relaunch your applications.
• Sometimes, fonts have a different preface before their actual name, so if you still can't locate your font, be sure to check your download folder for its proper name.
