Bounty Celebrates 50 Years as America’s #QuickerPickerUpper

If you follow this blog regularly, you probably know that I love to refinish anything and everything...from my family's heirloom pieces of furniture to a good thrift store find. And for the last 15 years of refinishing goodies, I've loved using Bounty Paper towels, along with my other trusty tools, to produce the aged and antiquey look that I love so much. 

I dampen and use them to clean off surfaces after sanding to get them ready for stain or paint.

Not only do I use my Bounty Paper Towels for furniture pieces, I use them for my art pieces, too. I like to stain them and give them a darker, more worn look. And then...

I use the Bounty Paper Towels to wipe the stain off as well...leaving the stain darker in some places and lighter in others. It gives the pieces a more authentically aged look.

When I age pieces with a petroleum jelly method, I use my paper towels to remove top layers of paint to reveal a darker layer of stain on the bottom.

I especially love to use my paper towels to add aging to corners of pieces...where a natural aging pattern would occur. 

My Bounty Paper Towels, along with all of my other tools, always help me produce keepsakes for my home and others' homes, too. This piece above is over 100 years old...and hopefully will be around another 100 years, too. I love that my trusty paper towels helped me renew it and give it new life.
