I love spring. And this year, it felt like winter was forever, y'all {you know, for Texas anyway}. But spring is just a breath of fresh air. Time to do fun things and make loads of memories. I've compiled all of our absolute favorite things about spring into this fun Free Printable Spring Bingo Pack below.

One of our favorite spring activities is taking photos in the Bluebonnets...it's a Texas thing, y'all. I've done it since I was a toddler myself. And we continue to do it every year with our own kids, too. Frolicking in fields of blue is always the best spring memory of all.Crazy how big those kids are getting...and how much we've aged in five years!
Besides Bluebonnet fun, there are so many other things we enjoy. If I had to pick three, I'd choose planting a garden, splashing in puddles, and picking strawberries.
When thinking about spring games, I wanted to think about something that really stands out a lot to me from when I was a kiddo. Spring is also thunderstorm season in central Texas. My mom always had a "fun kit" of things to do while we hung out in the empty bath tub during those crazy storms (which can often be accompanied by a tornado...hence, the bathtub). Her kit had crossword puzzles, MadLibs and BINGO! Our kids have alway used their devices when we're hunkering down in a spring storm, but how much more fun would good ol' BINGO games be? Plus, battery saver! In the spirit of all things spring, I filled these BINGO cards with all of our favorite spring activities and things.
I mentioned that one of our favorite things to do during spring is plant a garden. While we're definitely not to "harvest" season yet...I can't wait to dice up some of our fresh veggies {we're cherry tomato people, y'all} and throw them in our favorite Horizon Mac & Cheese. How yummy! My mom also grows fresh green beans and broccoli...and then gives half of it to us! Our Mac & Cheese will be loaded at the end of the season. But for now, it's just delicious on its own. {And perfect to enjoy during an intense game of BINGO!}
On our BINGO boards, I also included the Horizon Cow, "Happy" (aren't cows just so springish? Is it just me?), as well as a big bowl of mac and cheese!
This Free Printable Spring Bingo Pack comes with four BINGO cards and a sheet for the key. I just cut up the pieces from the key and place them in a bowl or hat to draw from during the game. You could also laminate each sheet (and not cut the pieces out) and use dry erase markers on it and the BINGO cards, as well. This would make the entire game slightly more portable. But the flat marble stones are fun to play with for the game, too.
Download your kit by clicking above. This is a five-page download.
It works best printed onto card stock.

ReplyDeleteI didn't know Horizon made a Mac and Cheese--maybe it is not in NY yet? It isn't really spring here yet either--I have yet to see the Forsythia bushes in bloom-which is a sure sign spring is here (around here anyway)-I have spotted a Robin or two so maybe it is coming soon!!
