Rustic Mother's Day Brunch Ideas

Today's post is brought to you by Uncommon Goods.
All opinions and ideas are my own.

I put together a Rustic Mother's Day Brunch and am giving you the step-by-step process to create one, too. It's the perfect way to make mom feel special {and maybe even a little fancy} on Mother's Day.
What mom wouldn't LOVE to find this spread waiting for her on Mother's Day? And with just a few tricks, it's not difficult to put together. Check it out below>>>

And, if you're looking for some great gifts for mom, too, Uncommon Goods has some great ideas here
This entire spread starts out with the most GORGEOUS Bark Cheese Boards.
You guys. These cheese boards. With the bark ring. I can't even.
You can find these pretty things {and a bunch of other pretty things} here, from Uncommon Goods. They also have a bunch of fun ideas for Unique Mother's Day gifts here. Or, win one of these Bark Cheese Boards at my Mother's Day Basket Giveaway here.

I wanted to put together something a bit out of the norm for Mother's Day: a fun twist on the traditional Mother's Day Brunch. I grabbed cheeses, fruit, nuts, crackers, preserves, and specialty meats at the store. All of these items required no prep work {except pulling some wax off of cheese}, making it simple to set up and then enjoy!

I also grabbed some books to vary the height of my cheese boards...I ended up using a small wooden board instead, as you'll see below.

I stacked one of the boards on another little board, to give it some height. I also grabbed some vintage silverware {almost wishing I hadn't polished it, so it would be even more rustic}, a mason jar and twine {which I ended up not using}.

I filled the mason jar with some breadsticks...to give some height to the entire set up. Then I set the preserves on one side, with spoons for easy serving.

I then filled in with my cheeses and crackers...somewhat randomly placed. I sliced up some of the cheese, while the softer ones I later put a knife out for.

Then I cut my bunch of grapes into more manageable sizes for people to grab from. It's easier to grab a bunch of five grapes than this handful. It also made it easier to tuck the grapes all over the place, since they were in smaller portions.

I added raspberries and nuts a little bit of everywhere. I also threw in a few pears and some Prosciutto-wrapped cheese sticks {delicious!}.

What seems to always pull it all together: greenery. In this case, mint and rosemary. I tucked it into every nook and cranny. I think the green really makes the whole set up pop and come to life.

Very simple, but inviting, too. This would be great for pre-brunch snacking. Or even with Mimosas and a simple egg casserole to form a complete meal. This set up would also be fun for wine tasting. The possibilities are endless.

So much yumminess!

I think the preserves add a little something different, too.

And, one fun outcome of this set up is my new favorite snicky-snack: butter crackers with Gouda cheese and Fig Preserves. It's heaven on a cracker, yall.

Be sure to stop by Uncommon Goods to check out these awesome Bark Cheese Boards here. And lots of other great gift ideas for mom here.
