Red and Green Bark
This Red and Green Bark is the perfect filler candy...but could easily hold its own in a goody tin, too! The colors are perfect for the holiday season.Red and Green Bark Recipe
Ingredients
- one {8 ounce} package of roasted and shelled pistachios {I used the Wonderful brand}
- one {5 ounce} package of dried cranberries {I used the Craisins from Ocean Spray}
- one {1 pound} package of white almond bark {vanilla flavored}
Directions
- Melt the almond bark according to package directions.
- Spread half of the melted bark onto a parchment-paper lined bar or cookie sheet, pushing it to the edges {it will be thin}.
- Sprinkle half of the cranberries and pistachios on top of the melted bark.
- Top with the remaining bark and sprinkle with the rest of the cranberries and pistachios.
- You can lightly push some of the cranberries and pistachios into the bark if they look too "loose".
- Refrigerate for a couple of hours until firm.
- Break apart the bark...I just use my hands for this.
So simple, yet so yummy.
