For the holidays, as part of a sponsored post for Collective Bias®, I created an easy Sesame Dipping Sauce that is perfect to pair with SeaPak Shrimp Spring Rolls. They're easy holiday appetizers that taste fantastic. #PakTheParty
I ran to my local Walmart to grab a box of these yummy SeaPak Shrimp Spring Rolls for a local party we had the other night. If you'd like to taste these babies, stop by your Walmart on December 8th (between 1pm to 5pm) for a SeaPak demonstration.
These are really delicious...like, really. They were recently featured on the Today Show and in Ladies Home Journal as one of "The 15 Best Frozen Appetizers to Serve at a Party".
And be sure to check out the SeaPak Facebook page, where they're always posting great food ideas and holiday appetizers.
Then I put together my simple dipping sauce to pair these with. Again, I wanted to bathe in/drink this sauce up. I'm a very saucy girl.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 3 teaspoons honey
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- SeaPak Shrimp Spring Rolls
Whisk together all ingredients until combined. Cover and chill for at least two hours. Prepare SeaPak Shrimp Spring Rolls according to package directions to serve with dipping sauce for an easy appetizer. {The spring rolls also come with their own dipping sauce...which I used as well, just to give choices!}.
Sometimes dinner party recipes seem so elaborate and time intensive. To make things easier on the holiday party end, I love to prepare easy holiday appetizers with convenience foods paired with homemade sauces for dipping. This particular sauce is inspired by our local Japanese Hibachi Restaurant...every time we go there, I feel like I need an excuse to try to copy their sauce {or pick it up and just drink it}.
