Baby Food Bundt Cake

While baby food may seem like an odd ingredient for cake, it really has some amazing possibilities. This moist Baby Food Bundt Cake is so delicious and simple to make. You can easily customize your own Baby Food Bundt Cake with the hundreds of flavors of baby food out there!

Baby Food Bundt Cake: Can mix up your flavor choices with different types of baby food.
This is another recipe from my cookbook committee days in Muleshoe, Texas. The original recipe for this came from a very well-known "great cook/baker" in town. As with most recipes, I like to tweak and make it into my own creation over time, adjusting to my own family's tastes and likes {and the fact that I can't even handle nutmeg. Bleh}.

You'll Need:
  • 1 cup cooking oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 2 small jars of baby food {your choice of fruit flavors, I used pear}
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped

  7. Okay, I love this idea. Way easier than mashing fruit! I love banana baby food - I still eat it sometimes!
