If you have some scrap fabrics to use up, a cute Quilted Spring Pot Holder Set is a great way to clean out your stash. Not only am I sharing these fun pot holders, I'm giving them away. And I would love to give YOU this Quilted Spring Pot Holder Set, along with a bunch of (already printed out) printables.
Y'all! Our Thrifty Style Team leader, Julie, had the most fantastic idea for this month. We're all giving away our projects in today's Grand Home Decor Giveaway! You can win more than one of these fun, thrifty, projects from my teammates and myself. You can enter to win my Quilted Spring Pot Holder Set below...and then click through to my teams' pages to enter their giveaways, too.
These are a super simple, beginner level sewing project, if you'd like to make some for yourself. Don't let the quilted part scare you...I'm definitely not a quilter, but I love making these.
And as I mentioned above, I'm also throwing in a bunch of my already printed printables. I print and style all of my printables for each post, so I have quite the stash. I'd love to send you a BIG set of my popular labels and tags...already ready to use! In other words, get ready to win a lil' box of happy! And don't forget, this is Thrifty Style Team day...there is more than one giveaway to enter below!
My Thrifty Style Team Friends:
The main fabric I used in my Quilted Spring Pot Holder Set was from yesterday's pom pom pillow tutorial that I shared. I still had quite a bit of this gorgeous Boho Fusion Acqua Di Rose fabric from AGF Studio and thought it would be really fun to incorporate it into a lovely Quilted Spring Pot Holder Set to giveaway in today's fun Thrifty Style Team post.
Quilted Spring Pot Holder Fabrics:
- The floral fabric is the Boho Fusion Acqua Di Rose fabric from AGF Studio.
- The other fabrics I used are from the Jen Allyson Hello Gorgeous pack from Riley Blake Designs.
I used my complete quilted pot holder tutorial from last fall to sew these spring versions, if you'd like to make a set for yourself. I have a set of my own that I use all over my kitchen. They're created with two sheets of (sandwiched) Heat N Bond fleece, so I'd use them more as trivets rather than grabbing a big, heavy hot casserole with them.

ReplyDeleteI love the colorful fabric you used on these (and the pillows)! If my friends saw these they would ALL want a set too. I would be making pot holders for days!!
ReplyDeleteI would use these in my new kitchen. After years of dull boring cabinets with blah beige laminate countertops, my new kitchen colors and blue, gray and white. These trivets would certainly give a nice pop of color. In fact I am painting the walls today so they would be here just in time for the finish.
ReplyDeleteI would feature these on my Easter table and set my whole table to follow those colors. I have lots of company coming in and it is my job to do a creative tablescape!
ReplyDeleteI would use these trivets under some smaller potted spring bulbs. They would look adorable for Easter!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful and practical way to add a dash of spring color in the kitchen and the dining room table!

ReplyDeleteJanB.
These colors will be perfect in the kitchen of our mountain home! We are there almost every weekend and that is where we do the most cooking and entertaining. Since it is an all wood home - floors, ceiling and walls - I used these colors to make it brighter.
ReplyDeleteI am a new instagram follower :).
I have a google account that I check infrequently so I am commenting "Anonymously". My email address is krowell at hotmail. com.

ReplyDeleteI think these would be beautiful to use on the dining room table! They'd make a pretty spring addition before the meal was served as well as a great way to keep the hot dishes off the table. (I don't use Instagram - guess I'm probably the only one in the universe that doesn't.)
ReplyDeleteHello! I would use them for Easter dinner dishes...so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove the bright colors of the pot holders, so fun for spring!
ReplyDeleteYou should see the old ratty pot holders I use, my mom made them like 30 years ago, and when I consider that fact, I guess they have held up really well!
ReplyDeleteGood morning!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your free printables and easy to follow craft ideas that i have made. Iwould use this set in many rooms of my house.Kitchen first, then on the coffee table ( girlfriend- food & fellowship night). Will you them outside in the gazebo. When friends ask it will give me a great opportunity to talk about your website. It is so fun to creative- i call it "Creating BEAUTY"
Everything you do is beautiful! It truly is, Kristi! Hope you are having fun XO
ReplyDeleteTruly, I would give them to my niece who moved to Alaska and is finding it to be a difficult transition. I think she could use some of this cheerful energy in her new home as well as a daily reminder of my love.
ReplyDeleteSo cute to put my pots on
ReplyDeleteKristi, I envision these sitting on my table with glassware centered on them. I have a couple of antique spooners that I use to hold my silverware and they would be beautiful sitting on these potholders in the middle of the table! I will gladly send in a picture if I win!! Yes, I follow you on Instagram.
ReplyDeleteYour description - "Box of Happy" is so appropriate! The colors of these adorable pot holders would make me happy every time I looked at them! If I were to win, I would use them on my Easter table, then proudly display them in my kitchen. Thanks so much for all your inspiration!

ReplyDeleteThese are so cute and would liven up my kitchen with such great spring colors. I don't follow you on Instagram but am going to start:-)
ReplyDeleteI have had an issue adding my comments this morning. It is the operator I am sure. The potholders I am using are the ones my kids made me when they were little. they are now 35 and 30. Haha You know that little square loom. I also just inherited my mom's they made her. Love them but yours are beautiful. Please don't tell them.
ReplyDeleteI love these! Always looking for a good quality pot holder.
ReplyDeleteWith 5 teenagers in the house and all their friends over, I cook A LOT! These cute trivets would certainly bring a splash of color to my rather dull looking kitchen and would be WELL USED :) I also follow you on Instagram! Tammy T.
ReplyDeleteI would use these beauties to brighten up my space for spring! We're getting another snow storm in this weekend even though we already had a peek of spring and some flowers were already blooming. I'm so ready for some color. I also follow you on Instagram as @shootingthekids. :)
ReplyDeleteThese would be perfect for my daughter's new home!
ReplyDeleteI hope they're heavy enough to be potholders because that's how I'd use them. My mother made my set of potholders & she passed away over 10 years ago. I've used them until they're threadbare because I can't bear to buy some to use.....handmade ones would make the transition so much easier.
ReplyDeleteThose are so pretty! I would love to give a couple to each mother in my family on Mother’s Day but I don’t know how many are in the set...on the other hand, I might get inspired to make more so I could still give them as presents...and keep a couple for myself, of course!

She loves handmade pretty things and she deserves a bright little gift in her life right now. Thanks, they are lovely for whoever wins them!
ReplyDeleteYou would not believe how raggy and dirty my potholders are! I've been wanting some new ones for a while. These are so pretty I might not be able to use them for potholders, though. I' probably use them to set a plant on or some sort of decorative object. I might just use ONE for a potholder!
ReplyDeleteI am following you on Instagram!
Hi Kristi! I'm like Naomi above who says her potholders are a mess. Yep, I've been meaning to dig into my fabric stash and sew some new ones, but, my paper crafting just keeps me too busy to do it. I'd love to win these and then, I'd have to talk myself into using them...they seem way too pretty to get dirty! Thanks for the chance in your give-a-way. sxygrndma48{at}yahoo{dot}com
