I'm really excited about this printable Happy Fathers Day banner, y'all! It's perfect to string up for your festivities...and the ties are just so fun. What better way to celebrate dear dad, and all of the other father figures in your life, than with a tie-shaped banner (strung together with lots of love)?
Dad's day is just around the corner...this free printable Happy Father's Day banner is perfect to make your day a bit more festive and fun (it's instant decor, too). The kids will enjoy helping cut and hang this one, too. Download yours below.
I love little "extras" for special days...like banners! While gifts and meals are wonderful, it's those thoughtful little details that really go the extra mile to make someone feel special. And I think banners do just that. This "DADDY" one is sure to put a smile on dad's face on Father's Day. And he can even hang it in his office to display all year long.
The artwork on these is super simple, but, the tie shape of each pennant really makes me smile. I used two different patterns and color schemes to make this Happy Fathers Day Banner POP! Plus oranges and blues on Father's Day seem super dad-ish, don't you think? This makes for a great craft for dad's day, too.
Printing and Using Your Banner
Supplies to Display Your Banner:
- DADDY banner (download is available below)
- white-letter-sized cardstock (grab it here on Amazon)
- mini clothespins (grab them here on Amazon)
- baker's twine (grab my two favorite colors for this banner below):
Instructions:
- These PDF formatted free printables are easy to print at home.
- Be sure to print your banner onto the white, letter-sized cardstock. Regular paper is too thin for banners and will curl up on the points. If you need any help with printing your banner, please check out my tutorial on How to Print Printables.
- Cut out each tie (kids can join the fun on this!).
- Use the mini-clothespins to string up your banner on baker's twine.
- Want a longer banner? Print several copies and string them all up...lots of "DADDY" would be super fun for Father's Day festivities.
