The Perfect Thanksgiving Drink

Looking for an easy Thanksgiving drink recipe to wow the guests at your table this year? This Thanksgiving drink can be made with or without alcohol and is the perfect compliment to the big meal.

Thanksgiving Drink Recipe
I served this little Thanksgiving drink number last night to my Hot Glue Hotties craft group and it was a HIT! Several ladies asked me for the recipe...a bunch of us plan to serve it on Thanksgiving day (and reap the love from our families who drink it).

It's gooooood. And, ridiculously easy. See the recipe for this Thanksgiving drink below.

Thanksgiving Drink Recipe

A little cranberry tartness, a few bubbles, and some sweetness and you've got yourself quite the drink for your holiday festivities. I serve this Thanksgiving drink in one of my glass beverage dispensers (but I have a back up container of it already prepped in the fridge when the container runs out...as it always does with this recipe).

Thanksgiving Punch

Recipe Ingredients:

  • for the non-alcoholic version, 1 bottle of Martinelli's Sparkling Cider; for the alcoholic version, 1 bottle sparkling wine (pick your fave)
  • 1 3-liter bottle of Sprite
  • 2 cans of cranberry juice concentrate (my Walmart always has this around this holidays)
  • extras to make it fun and festive: I used real cranberries and star-shaped ice cubes (which took me the whole weekend to make since I only had one star-shaped ice cube tray...LOL!)

Directions:

  • Mix everything together and serve over ice. Can be made the morning of your dinner, but no sooner than that...you don't want your bubbles to go flat on you.

    2. It's actually a 3-liter...I think what is pictured is a two, but it is indeed a 3. :)

  28. You could freeze the cranberries before you add them and they could keep it cold without even adding ice

  29. Just wondering with cranberry juice do you add the recommended water or just put the cranberry in with no water?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I just use the straight concentrate! No water at all. :)

Hope you enjoy. Have a lovely Thanksgiving!! ;)

    3. Betty, I would do three bathes...just to be safe.

  30. Could you use sparkling white grape juice instead of the cider?

    1. I'm sure you could...but the apple is there to give it the Thanksgiving flavor spin. Not sure white grape would have the same effect?

    2. Sorry...I thought I was replying on the apple drink...I think that would be fine.

  31. Hi! I'm really wanting to make this drink for my Thanksgiving guests, but unfortunately cannot find frozen cranberry concentrate anywhere! I've literally searched the city. Should I use a blend? I've found apple cranberry frozen concentrate. Or should I just use non-frozen cranberry juice from concentrate, and if so, how much? Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated. Thank you. :)

    1. I think the apple cranberry would be AWESOME!! I would go for it and try that. In my local area, the Walmarts carry the Cranberry one.

    1. I would play with it and see if you like the taste. You can start with two cups and add more from there as you need to.

    2. Hi Maryellen, I live in Australia and they definitely do not have the concentrate. I Was going to use the juice as well, did this work for you? If so how much did you use?

  33. How many ounces is the cranberry concentrate container? Haven't tried to find it yet.

    1. Honestly, I don't know much myself...I go for something inexpensive and ask for help in the wine aisle. I never get the same twice...lol!
